Big month last month and even more upcoming, honestly we have so many major things happening I almost want to put each of them in their own post so that they don't get lost in one long post!

-We are Officially a home away from home for the Glassell Core Program and Glassell Student for the next year until they complete their new building and I hope even after that once we find out how great the collaboration is between our two like minded groups.
-We launched our Artist Support Grant the last week, this should be an amazing opportunity and the response has been pretty amazing (hint we are working on a Engineer support grant as well!).
-Today we are teaching a 3d printing class at SpaceCenter Houston
-We are providing fabrication assistance and space for Texas Tech's Architecture Masters Program in Houston
-We started a new CNC meetup at the lab which has been really fun imo!
-Yang redid the video game machine and got TXRX into a movie!

-We will be mentoring at the HTC hackathon this weekend
-We are announcing Studio Sessions (time to work on projects with an experts help in conjunction to our classes)
-We are fully revamping our classes to offer more comprehensive listings with clearer progression
-Book signing and release at the lab during open house next weekend.
-Our new SLS 3d printer arrives in about 5 days.
-We will be adding 12 new table spaces due to demand.
-HREG will be hosting solar workshops.
-We will be hosting a booth at the upcoming mini maker faire.

All in all more exciting stuff on the horizon including partnerships, classes, new tools, etc. Lab membership continues to grow we are hosting more and more meetups and events which means more and more things to get the community involved. The opportunities for us grow every month and I sound like a broken record but every time I write on of these the things in the works I cant even mention until they are more firmed up grow and grow. As always I hope to see everyone at the lab!
