We found a Temporary Space at Caroline Collective

At the weekly meeting Friday night, interested members were given a tour of the Temporary Space that was offered at the Caroline Collective. The space is about 300 sq ft and will be $700.00 a month, including all utilities, water, wireless internet access, etc. We will also have shared use of the 600 +/- sq ft common use area, lounge, conference room, and the parking area. This will also be on a month – to – month lease with a 30 day notice requirement.

The meeting attendees approved the decision to go forward with this lease, with a goal to get into a larger more permanent facility as we grow. With that being said we will have to collect dues starting next week to pay the move in costs ($900.00 = First Months rent + 1/2 of last months rent) and to purchase items needed to furnish the space. We will also be making a list of items people are willing to donate to the space but remember, at this time our space is limited.

We will be looking for shelving, workbenches, stools, chairs, power strips, adjustable lighting, plastic bins, working printer (laser preferred), cat 5/6 cabling, single network rack, small desktop fans, working power supplies and other test equipment, hand tools, drills, etc….
