Join us, in continuation of the TXRX Speaker Series, where we highlight community makers and small businesses. Tim Watson will be giving a software based demo using Vectric VCarve Pro, a software application used for CNC cutting and engraving. Come learn about Tim’s process designing a colorful multi-layer epoxy inlay of a sports logo in this free, lecture based demo, open to the public.

Tim Watson is a retired hobbyist woodworker with many years experience making furniture, home remodeling and art projects. Tim’s career as a draftsman, software developer and project manager was augmented by his weekend passion for designing and building stuff from wood. He currently makes high-end cutting and serving boards embellished with wood and epoxy inlays carved on the CNC. Tim volunteers at the lab on weekends and thoroughly enjoys giving back and engaging with the local community.
