Laser Cutting II: Engraving Theory

In this demo/lecture-based class, students will learn about a variety of essential calculation techniques for executing the best quality engraving using the Laser Cutter. Students will also learn the importance of material selection and feeds and speeds relating to specific materials.

This workshop is open to all experience levels, but is geared towards preparing those who have taken Laser Cutting I to pursue more complex projects of their own. Due to the scope of techniques covered, it does not include a finished project to take home; however, the class will include practice time engraving a test pattern on differing materials
