Costuming: Intro to Thermoplastics
Learn thermoplastics techniques with Worbla. In this beginner-friendly workshop you will learn about common cosplay materials and have the opportunity to work with one of the most flexible thermoplastics, Worbla. Students will gain hands-on experience in
- templating and pattern-making,
- using craft foam with Worbla
- heat-forming Worbla
- smoothing/finishing techniques.
By the end of this workshop you will have made a custom-fitted bracer for your next adventure.
Students should be prepared for: A warm work environment, working with spray paint
