Craft Connect: Crochet Bootcamp

Build a strong foundation in crochet and learn how to confidently work from patterns. This bootcamp focuses on understanding crochet symbols, abbreviations, stitch techniques, yarn selection, hook sizes, gauge, and common troubleshooting tips.

Topics include:

Basic crochet stitches Reading written patterns and charts Crochet symbols and abbreviations Yarn types and hook sizes Increases, decreases, and shaping Tips for choosing materials for different projects Homework will be assigned after each class to help students practice and build confidence.

On the final day, students will complete a pattern-reading challenge. Students who pass will receive a special prize.

By the end of the bootcamp, students should be able to follow most beginner and intermediate crochet patterns and continue projects independently.
