Screen Printing I

Learn screen printing! This workshop focuses making a screen with the photo emulsion technique.

Learn how to

• sensitize a screen in photo emulsion material
• use UV light to expose the prepared image to transfer design from transparency
• washing and printing the screen
• screen printing using best practice and technique

Students will coat their own screen for making paper prints using water based inks. Students are welcome to bring their own image.

This is a 2 day class, you must attend both sessions.

By the end of this workshop students will have made a custom screen of their own design to take home.
